Muscle Gaining Secrets is a weight
training, weight gaining and fitness eBook written by
Jason Ferruggia, fitness expert and professional strength
and training coach. Ferruggia is a renowned fitness
expert, not just some guy off the streets. He has written
articles for and been featured in many top fitness
magazines, including Men's Health and Men's Fitness. With
his expertise you would certainly expect great things from
his training program and eBook Muscle Gaining Secrets.
Designed for Hard Gainers
Muscle Gaining Secrets is designed for hard gainers. Hard
gainers are people that are naturally skinny and have trouble
putting on mass. These people are known for spending hours in
the gym and still not seeing great results. Meanwhile they can
also usually eat anything they like without gaining fat, but no
muscle is gained either. This book is designed specifically for
those people, like Ferruggia himself, who struggle with packing
on muscle.
That doesn't mean that only hard gainers can use and benefit
from this book though. Every person can follow and apply these
principles to see great results. It just means that even if you
are a hard gainer, you'll still see impressive, breakout gains
that you could never have imagined. If it works that well for
somebody who struggles with gaining muscle mass, somebody with
a different body type can certainly pack on loads of muscle
using these training principles as well.
Don't Train Like Professional Bodybuilders
One of the main points of Muscle Gaining Secrets is that an
average guy shouldn’t be training like a professional
bodybuilder. These guys are genetic freaks who not only were
born with huge muscular potential and definition, but can pack
on muscle extraordinarily fast and efficiently. They have also
been training intensely for most of their lives, meaning their
body has built up a tolerance for and a capability for extreme
amounts of weight training.
This is not true for the average person, who unfortunately
will have a harder time putting on muscle mass. However, the
bright side is that you then don't need to try to workout like
one! Forget spending 2 hours in the gym 5 days a week (or
anything more than that) working each body part individually to
extreme exhaustion. You can spend a third of the time in the
gym and see great results.
Really, workout length should not be more than 45 minutes.
After this, and your body has hormonal changes such as
decreasing testosterone production and increasing cortisol
production, which leads to your body being geared for fat
retention as opposed to muscle gain.
Natural testosterone production is another one of the keys
to the Muscle Gaining Secrets program. Ferruggia describes how
the average testosterone level in men in the United States has
fallen by 50% in 50 years. We have to work hard to get our
hormonal levels back to where they should be, as testosterone
is a vital element in building the sculpted physique we have
been shooting for.
